A Home for Writing Novels

Apartment Therapy did an awesome post: 10 Historic American Writer Homes.

This is Louise May Alcott’s home. It’s where she wrote Little Women.

Alcott’s home is both ordinary and epic.

Writers are a weird bunch. If you’re a writer, amateur or otherwise, you’re probably fascinated by how other writers, the successful ones, write. In a small cabin smack dab in the center of nowhere? At a fold out table in the corner of their kitchen? In the middle of the night?

I love these glimpses into the unknowable.
